10 Items That Can Kill Your Cat

Many parents, when they first took over the cat, mostly only paid attention to some basic cat care items, and easily ignored some invisible existences at home that may threaten the cat's health

So what are the existences in the home that are easy to kill cats?

 1. Tap water

Although now parents have generally reached a consensus, 🌸 know that cats cannot drink tap water, but the specific reasons are not very clear

The reason why I can't give tap water to cats is because tap water contains bleaching powder. In addition, during long-term transportation, tap water also contains a lot of fine jun and parasites, so I give it to cats directly. ✨They are easy to get sick

 2. Aspirin

Cats can't eat aspirin, because cats are carnivorous creatures, and the body cannot decompose this ingredient well, This will easily accumulate to harmful concentrations, which will lead to death

 3. Plants that are poisonous to cats

Common plants that are poisonous to cats are: lily (very toxic to cats), azalea (vomiting, diarrhea), chrysanthemum (dermatitis, vomiting, diarrhea), carnation (slightly toxic, mild dermatitis), peony yao (large doses)  later, it will be poisoned)

"Arenaaceae" is a plant, and most of the indoor green plants on the market belong to this plant, such as green dill, white palm, dripping Guanyin, monstera, calla lily, rough rib grass, evergreen and so on!  So after raising cats, try not to keep plants indoors

 4. Foods that are poisonous to cats

Common ones are: chocolate (highly toxic), onion, shallot, garlic (containing disulfide), eggplant, tomato, potato

 5. cigarettes, smoke

Secondhand smoke is not only harmful to the human body, but also harmful to cats!  So after adopting a cat, you should quit smoking

 6. Raw fish

Certain fish (especially freshwater fish) contain large amounts of the enzyme "Thiaminase", which is an enzyme used to digest vitamin B1. If it is fed to cats undercooked, it is easy to destroy vitamin B1 in cats.  And only eating fish for a long time is not conducive to the nutritional balance of the cat's body

 7. Mothballs, sanitary balls (often placed in the closet)

Mothballs contain toxic substances such as naphthalene and p-dichlorobenzene. When cats touch or swallow them, they will be poisoned, causing vomiting, diarrhea, and convulsions.

 8. Human toothpaste

Human toothpaste is not edible, it is different from toothpaste for pets!  After the cat accidentally eats it, it is prone to poisoning!  In addition, although it is edible for pets, it should not be eaten often. After all, it contains a lot of detergents, thickeners, etc., which are not good for the cat's body.

It is enough to use toothpaste 2~3 times a week, dry brush the rest of the time, or feed some freeze-dried duck necks or ji necks to clean the oral teeth

 9. Paints

Pigments contain a certain amount of soluble antimony, arsenic, barium, lead, mercury, selenium and other metal elements, which are harmful to humans and cats, so cats should not be allowed to eat them by mistake

 10. Mouse

Rats now contain a lot of parasites and germs in their bodies!  And many mice are poisoned to death, if the cat accidentally eats such dead mice, it will also die of poisoning
